How to Choose a Driving Experience -
Five Questions, One Right Decision

This is the question that shapes the character of the whole experience, which is why it comes first. Our two environments are as different from each other as the two types of drivers who come to us:

Arad race track - a professional race track in the Negev: 14 corners, acceleration stretches, a pit lane, and a closed environment where pushing the car is allowed (and encouraged). It has a real event atmosphere and a viewing area for family and friends, which makes it the natural home for group experiences and gifts with an audience.

Nes Harim - the roads of the Judean Hills: flowing curves, open scenery, and a European driving feel. No stands, no crowd noise - just the road, the car, and you. This is the setting for personal and couples' experiences, as we cover in more depth in our Nes Harim driving experience guide.

• Rule of thumb: want to push a car to its limit and check off "I drove a race track"? Arad. Want a scenic, quiet, or romantic experience? Nes Harim.

The four cars in our fleet represent four different driving philosophies - and the right choice depends on who's sitting behind the wheel, not on the numbers. Three of them are in the table; the fourth, the Nissan 370Z, is a rear-wheel-drive Japanese sports coupe with a 350-hp V6 3.7L:

Instinct says "as much as possible" - and it's not quite right. Performance driving is intense: the focus, the g-forces, and the adrenaline tire you out faster than you'd expect, and for an inexperienced driver, short, high-quality sessions with breaks beat one long stretch that ends in fatigue.

Our rule: match the length of the experience to the purpose, not the budget. Just want a first taste? A short, focused format is more than enough. A bucket-list experience or a big gift? Go with an extended format - more sessions, more track time. A group event? The length follows the number of participants. It's worth knowing the part that never changes, no matter what you picked in the five questions above: every EXR driving experience includes a professional briefing before you get in the car, a certified instructor beside you for the entire drive, and video and photo coverage. You don't need prior experience, you don't need technical knowledge - you need a valid driver's license and a good mood.

It also means you genuinely can't get it wrong: the differences between the experiences come down to taste - car, scenery, crowd - not to the level of professionalism or safety. Your choice decides which story you'll tell afterward, not how well you're taken care of.

One common mistake worth avoiding: choosing based on what sounds most impressive instead of who's actually going to drive. The Corvette makes the best headline - but for a reserved driver, a precise session in the M240 delivers a better experience than all 450 horses put together. Match the experience to the person, not to Instagram.
